Miami Beach is a very famous area that is only a few miles away from downtown. Miami Beach is built on an islet barriers, located east of the coast, decorated with small artificial islands. Market overview

Miami is one of the regions that was most affected by the real estate crisis of 2007. At that time, some properties had lost more than 50% of their value. However, Miami has remained a very attractive city, where anything is possible. As a result, the housing market has recovered well, even if it has not reached its pre-crisis record levels.  The market is now more rental-oriented, which allows investors to continue to make profits.

From July to September, this is the wet season, which is characterized by strong moisture, heavy rains and stifling heat. This period is to avoid because there are hurricanes and cyclones. This is the hottest and the less busy period in Miami.

High Season
Oct 01 - Mar 31

From October to March, this is the best period to enjoy a trip to Miami. Visitors can benefit from the beach and the sun in a quiet atmosphere. As this is the dry season, the weather is nice and particularly sunny. Winter is dry and clement and it is possible to bathe all year long as the water is around 22 degrees. Discovering Miami at this period is perfect as there are few tourists.

Peak Season
Mar 01 - Jul 30

The months between March and July correspond to the tourist season. Indeed, this peak time period is due to several major events such as the Mardi Gras Carnival, the Holy Week and the Easter weekend. Miami is therefore a very crowded place as tourists want to escape from the bitter cold of North America and Canada.

Wolfsonian Museum

This little museum belongs to FIU, one of the Universities of Miami and it exhibits modern art and design elements from European and North American objects dated from 1885 to 1945. The Wolfsonian Museum gathers a large collection of pieces of industrial design, sometimes rare and original. It also proposes various exhibitions regarding diversified issues such as political and social evolutions, architecture or even design. A special area is dedicated to popular art and numerous object reflect mass culture. Discover this museum during a visit which is worth seeing and which is out of the ordinary.

Lummus Park

Lummus Park is the only place where are all gathered celebrities, popular stars, bodybuilders and famous surfers just for showcasing. Situated in the Deco District, Lummus Park has been the backdrop for many film scenes. This beachfront park is famous and became a must-see for any visitor. Paved paths allow to walk or bike on the seafront. However, the main attraction is the beach itself, with its clear turquoise water and its beautiful palm trees.

Bal Harbour

Situated in the North of Miami Beach Island Bal Harbour is one of the most expensive places around the world. This luxury shopping gallery is one of the oldest in Miami. Bal Harbour is the flagship for shopping lovers who love spending money, no matter the cost. The most internationally renowned brands have a boutique in this mall, which gathered the well-off clientele of Miami.
