Lake Orta, in the ancient village of Orta San Giulio, in provence of Novara: building constructed in the seventeenth century that still retains many beautiful baroque details.
The Palace is called Caldara Monti and is located at the crossroads with a small slope, in front of the Common House.
The description of the building is present in some books of the eighteenth century, deposited in the archives of Novara, in which architects describe it as one of the three most beautiful buildings in Orta.
The building of about 885 square meters free on four sides, is on four levels above ground including the attic floor, from which you can access to a roof terrace with stunning 360° view towards the lake, the romantic island of San Giulio and the mountains.
The building has an inner courtyard with a well, a stone staircase with groin vaults, vaulted and coffered ceilings.
The main entrance in via Bossi is surmounted by a window with a grille framed by stucco, above the portal there is a stone balcony with a wrought iron railing.
Two other entrances are located in via Monti and on the back side.
The building is divided as follows:

- mezzanine floor of about 96 square meters
- first floor of about 190 square meters
- second floor of about 190 square meters
- attic floor of about 190 square meters
