Nosara is a village in Nicoya Township on the Pacific Coast. It is also one of the only places in Costa Rica that still contains large areas of unpaved roads.
It is a particularly well preserved place, as it is home to the Ostional Wildlife Reserve, where turtles breed every year. It is also possible to come to see the show in the early morning and see thousands of turtles on the beach.
