Nusa Lembongan - Bali

Nusa Lembogan is a small island located in the southeastern coast of Bali. Its access is possible only by boat after a crossing of about 30 minutes. This is a quiet island, which is far away from mass tourism like in the island of Bali. Even if the tourist activity grows a little more each year, the island remains very attractive thanks to its magnificent beaches and seabed enjoying incredible wealth. In order to meet an ever-increasing demand, hotels and individual properties are built slowly.

Low Season

From November to April, it is the wet season, which is characterized by hot and humid climates. Temperatures easily reach 32 degrees, with high moisture (75%). Rains are heavier from December to February.

High Season
may 01 - oct 31

The dry season takes place from May to October. There is a mild climate with nice temperatures (around 27 degrees). Even during the dry season, the weather can be rainy but that's short duration rainfalls which are mainly at the end of the day. The perfect period to visit Bali corresponds to the months of May, June and September in order to enjoy less crowded places with a  nice weather and temperatures.

Peak Season
jul 01 - jul 31

The months of June and July correspond to peak tourist affluences. Tourist resorts are taken by storm, prices are at their highest and places are crowded. However, visitors enjoy a perfect sunny weather during this mild and dry month.

Mushroom Bay

Mushroom Bay is a splendid area, which welcomes traditional fishing boats and some luxury sailing boats in its crystal clear waters. You can admire the charming sharp reefs and some rocky cliffs. However, there are plenty of access to swim. This attractive spot offers lots of activities to do, many fine restaurants to discover the local dishes and splendid villas to admire.

Dream Beach

As its name implies, Dream Beach is a little paradise and a remote place to enjoy a sunbath in Bali. Dream Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Bali. This quiet beach has however waves and a strong current which can be a good spot for surfers. Dream Beach is an ideal place to admire the scenic views on the seaside.

Seaweed Farming

The main industry in Nusa Lembongan is seaweed farming, which is also the cornerstone of the economies of the nearby islands of Ceningan and Penida. Visitors will discover how locals work to grow, produce and dry numerous species of seaweed. Seaweed farmers will teach the traditional way to farm seaweed all over the cultivating process. You will be surprised to know that seaweed is used in a large range of daily consumer products (toothpaste, pate, ice cream, processed meats, soy milk, diet soda and fire fighting foam among others).
