Lutry is a charming little town of 10 000 inhabitants which extends from Lac Léman to the Jorat forest. Even if it located only a few minutes from Lausanne, it enjoys a quiet and exclusive location. The town is rich of history. Many castles and fortified towers were built between the 11th and the 18th centuries. The period of the 20th century was characterized by the influx of many new, non-local families. Lutry became a popular residential area for the wealthy classes.
