Lutry is a charming little town of 10 000 inhabitants which extends from Lac Léman to the Jorat forest. Even if it located only a few minutes from Lausanne, it enjoys a quiet and exclusive location. The town is rich of history. Many castles and fortified towers were built between the 11^th and the 18^th centuries. The period of the 20^th century was characterized by the influx of many new, non-local families. Lutry became a popular residential area for the wealthy classes.
