This is the best time to enjoy a holiday in the sun. It is a very busy season where the number of tourists is increasing a lot. Moreover, the prices charged are higher than the rest of the year. Temperatures can range from 16 to 28 degrees.

Jardim do paseo Alegre is a 19th century garden, which houses many period buildings. There are also palm trees, a music stands and fountains. It is a dynamic place very appreciated, which, thanks to its geographical position allows to admire the ocean and the waves.

Felgueiras Lighthouse

Felgueiras Lighthouse is located at the end of the Douro river pier, which crosses the south of Porto. It rises about 10 meters high and has a red lantern at its end. Its construction began in 1790 and was put into service in 1886.
