Maida vale is a residential neighborhood located north of Paddington in the western part of London. It is a prestigious area that houses many old Edwardian private hotels, which have now been transformed into luxurious residences. The neighborhood is partly built on what is called "Little Venice", because here the houses are built directly on the edges of the canal. The canal is decorated with numerous barges and other gondolas for the pleasure of the visitors.It is a peaceful area, where it is nice to come and relax with a drink in one of the many bars or restaurants present.
