Algarve is probably the most dynamic and sought-after region when it comes to real estate in Portugal. Its growing activity in recent years, has, in large part, contributed to the development of real estate activity throughout the rest of the country.

The real estate market in Portugal attracts mainly foreign investors. Among them, we find in first position the French investors (25%), followed by the English with a little less than 20%, the Chinese (13%), the Brazilians (8%) then the Belgians (5%). As these figures show, the majority of foreign investors are of European origin.
