Downtown Miami is the business and financial district of Miami, but also the main commercial center of the state of Florida, as well as the third largest one in the United States in terms of importance. It is mainly composed of skyscrapers, the oldest one is the Freedom Tower, which today represents the symbol of the Cuban exodus of the early nineteenth century. The "American Airlines Arena" is also the venue for the Miami Heat Basketball team. In addition, public transportation is very developed in the center of Miami, firstly because it is completely free and autonomous (no wicket, no ticket, no controller), and secondly because it is a real tourist attraction: fun for the youngest, and it allows to discover the city in another way for the older ones.
