Michael grew up in Kentucky and worked in the information technology field prior to moving to Fort Myers in 1999. His family had vacationed here for 10 years and just adored this area. An avid golfer, boater and fisherman, he enjoys spending time on the boat. He has a daughter and son who are both married. He has one grandchild and is expecting his second this spring. Michael has worked as an Industrial Engineer and founded an Internet company. Because of this he has an extensive background in logistics and technology. Michael has earned the ePRO, Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI) and is a licensed USCG Captain. Michael became the first Realtor in SW Florida and the 11th in the state to earn his Accredited Seller Representative (ASR).
This designation is awarded based on both actual performance and required education. The first awarded in SW Florida. Michael has completed the education and training necessary to earn his Certified Property Valuator (CPV), only the second awarded in Lee County. He offers Broker Price Opinions as part of his advanced service to his clients. Most recently Michael has completed advanced training and work review and is now certified by National Valuations Standards Institute. Michael has also earned his (CDPE) Certified Distressed Property Expert to assist buyers and sellers with bank owned foreclosures and short sale properties. Michael worked for 15 years with UPS in a variety of roles. His training and management of projects helped him build his own business.
This drive did not stop when he retired from UPS at an early age and did not stop when he sold his Internet company. Today, this same drive has helped him as Vice President of Royal Shell Real Estate to help build a first class team of service oriented agents and staff. Michael also heads up the research department for analytical analysis of the real estate market for southwest Florida.
