Champagne, Cava and …Franciacorta? Most lovers of classic method sparkling wine are familiar with the famed first two in the list, but few know of Franciacorta, Italy’s best-kept secret from the Lombardy region of northern Italy. Sebastiano Cavalieri Ducati, Managing Director at Ducati Case, takes us on this land for us to discover a unique property.
Sebastiano, we have the feeling that this vineyard has something special.
You’re right. The feature of this house is its location: in the center of the little city completely surrounded by an ancient stone wall already partly beautifully restored, which enriches the historical and architectural value. Another unique feature is the presence within it of a rare urban vineyard grown organically.

The privilege of having a part of the Franciacorta territory inside the property makes it unique.
The building is typical of the court old houses in Franciacorta (Brescia): the property is developed around the two courts for a total of about 2,000 square meters completely renovated in full compliance with existing architectures, with particular attention to details, equipped with all modern comforts, video surveillance systems and integrated security.
The privilege of having a part of the Franciacorta territory inside the property makes it unique.
The vineyard on the inside, including a portion of an ancient vine training system, produces Chardonnay and Pinot Noir organics certified.

The countryside is often overlooked when it comes to investing, but Italy can offer great opportunities, isn’t it?
In our country we have unique opportunities that are very interesting for those who decide to invest in luxury agriculture. The farms can also be a source of income, but investors in particular foreigners, are more interested in producing wine or olive oil for their own use that to create a business with all of its problems.
Franciacorta is the Official Sparkling Wine of the World Exhibition EXPO 2015 in Milan. Do you think that Expo 2015 can act as a springboard for the countryside real estate market in Italy ?
« Expo will be a major driving force for Italy that will give to the visitors the opportunity to know and appreciate an international and cosmopolitan city as Milan rich in history and capital of the Italian business. I believe that thanks to this event there will be many visitors who will discover a city, already capital of fashion and design, in which to live in luxury homes », ends Sebastiano.
