John Shields

John has been serving buyers and sellers for over 10 years in beautiful Southwest Florida. Originally from Southern New Jersey, John was in the IT field for over 20 years. He brings this computer experience to his clients whenever necessary. John was and continues to be very involved with volunteership in his community. He ran a local chapter of Toys for Tots in Camden County, New Jersey for 7 years, collecting and delivering over 50,000 to local families in need. Here in Florida, John volunteers with Hope Hospice as an end-of-life Doula. The role includes guiding patients and their families through the end-of-life process as well as sitting with actively dying patients. All these professional and volunteer activities have integrated into an ability offered to his clients…listening! An imperative part of guiding buyers and sellers through the real estate process is the ability to really listen and hear. John understands that this is one of the biggest transactions that buyers and sellers will make in their lifetime and it is important to listen to their fears, concerns and expectations. Taking that information is critical to assisting them in listing their property or finding the perfect home they are looking to acquire.
