Italy Real Estate Shows Signs Of Recovery At Q4 2013
It seems like real estate is doing much better in Italy. After a long hard-hitting crisis, some pointers are showing the situation is starting to change, according to our Member Ducati Case.
After several dim quarters, the residential market is coming back to life. In the last quarter of 2014, the number of transactions is up by 12.8%
It always goes the same. After a period of darkness, the light slowly makes its way back through the sky. The wind arrives, blows away the clouds, and the beams of lights are back. This is what is happening in the real estate industry in Italy now.
Finally, it seems the tables are starting to turn!
After the freeze on real estate transactions, with the desire for those obtained a “great” deal to sell it all, the will to invest in real estate is becoming an “interesting” choice again.
Today seems like the right time to invest in Italy real estate, with a great price/quality ratio, and with substantial measurable returns.
Milan remains the undisputed capital of Italian real estate. The market is still dynamic, with a sought-after historic center, and a contained decrease of prices.
After several dim quarters, the residential market is coming back to life. In the last quarter of 2014, the number of transactions is finally up by 12.8% (data from the Agenzia delle Entrate).
Although this doesn’t mean an absolute strong recovery since the number of transaction had dropped drastically during the crisis, this means at least that the market is starting to settle, and preparing to grow again.
People of Milan say that the crisis, and the recovery, start from under the « Madonnina » of the Duomo, and quietly, with very little noise, something starts moving…
« The big difference is that today, you can find properties that would never have made it to the market otherwise. Especially, commercial buildings represent the most interesting deals, with a return of at least 6%, and up to 9%. As such, this segment is the most attractive for a medium to long-term investment », says Sebastiano Cavalieri Ducati, CEO at Ducati Case.
All you have to do is take your chance!
