Who buys?

The real estate market in Portugal attracts mainly foreign investors. Among them, we find in first position the French investors (25%), followed by the English with a little less than 20%, the Chinese (13%), the Brazilians (8%) then the Belgians (5%). As these figures show, the majority of foreign investors are of European origin.

January and February are the coldest months in the Algarve region, temperature can range from 13 to 17 degrees. The climate is colder, and the rains are more regular. The temperatures remain warm and the attendance limited, which makes this season a good compromise.

High season

Mar 01 – Apr 30

To make the most of the beginning and end of the season, the months of November and December, and March and April are ideal. At this période, temperatures range from 14 to 21 degree. The climate is pleasant at this time and tourists are less numerous.

Peak season

May 01 – Oct 31

With over 2500 hours of sunshine per year, the high season is undoubtedly the hottest season in the country with temperature from 17 to 32 degrees.
