Lagos is a historic city in Portugal. It is located along the west coast of the Algarve. Market overview

January and February are the coldest months in the Algarve region, temperature can range from 13 to 17 degrees. The climate is colder, and the rains are more regular. The temperatures remain warm and the attendance limited, which makes this season a good compromise.

High season
Mar 01 - Apr 30

To make the most of the beginning and end of the season, the months of November and December, and March and April are ideal. At this période, temperatures range from 14 to 21 degree. The climate is pleasant at this time and tourists are less numerous.

Peak season
May 01 - Oct 31

With over 2500 hours of sunshine per year, the high season is undoubtedly the hottest season in the country with temperature from 17 to 32 degrees. The more than favorable weather allows you to enjoy all holiday activities. The month of August is a little more arid, very dry, or the rains are very rare.

Ponta da Piedade

Ponta da piedade is a small beach with a very special character. It lies at the foot of cliffs more than 20m high, eroded and formed by the powerful waves hitting the coast.

Its access is restricted, even if it is possible to reach it on foot by following the paths located in the middle of the cliffs. It is still advisable to access it thanks to the cruises that come to sail in these waters.

Meia Praia

Meia Praia is the largest beach in the Algarve region. It stretches for more than 5 km, from the edge of Lagos Bay to the Alvor estuary.

Forte de Ponta da Bandeira

Lagos is a historic city in Portugal. Surrounded by stone ramparts, it shelters the remains of fort da ponta da Bandeira. It was built in the 17th century and was used as a defensive fortress. We find there today remains of the past times of which a chapel of the XVIII.

This ancient monument continues to live today, at the rhythm of the cultures and the traditional festival of the city of Lagos.
