David Jones

David is a native of Waycross, Georgia. With over four decades of experience in hospitality and property management, David has an exceptional track record of delivering top-notch customer service and achieving outstanding results. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1972, where he was a proud member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He began his hospitality career with the opening of the prestigious Amelia Island Plantation, from there he progressed to Marriott Hotels and Resorts for fourteen years, working across the country from Kansas City to Marco Island, before joining Sheraton in Augusta, GA. David's years in the hospitality industry are a testament to his ability to handle significant responsibilities effectively. His expertise in managing large-scale projects is well recognized, and he was named ITT Sheraton General Manager of the Year in North America in 1995. David's natural flair for leadership shines through in his work with Landmark Realty Group. His passion for the real estate industry is only matched by his love for his family, with six children and fourteen grandchildren, he understands the importance of finding the perfect home for your family. In his spare time, David is a vital member of the Blue Ridge Free Dental Clinic, where he volunteers as a Tooth Fairy and can be seen in the Highlands or Cashiers Christmas parades.
